No..my state and any other conservative states would not allow abortions even in the case of the mother's life...many have already said so.and

What really puzzles me is why so many who feel so strongly about being able to choose are proudly proclaiming themselves mothers and/or displaying pictures of thier children.

so are you saying that my friends sister (who is on welfare) is worth something when she purposely abuses the system and goes out and gets pg every other year from a different guy just so she can continue to stay on welfare (not to mention, her house is filthy, and she weighs about 400 lbs)?

That, once again, is like saying you can't disagree with me or I'll have to fear you because you might force me to do or not do what you don't agree with.

Sometimes I think people interpret what they read through glasses tainted by their own fears.

Obama has actually expressed concerns about corporate taxes, and he has also expressed concern for small businesses.

That the stance of the organization which I suspect is a kind of code. They don't want to come right out and say they're "against" choice. It would be interesting to know what they actually do in the way of supporting their mission; that is, what those high-sounding words mean where the rubber hits the road. Do they promote using yours and my tax dollars to support women?

It seems that conservative bloggers have been sanitizing the record on Palin. Either that or liberal hackers are pulling a fast one. Check out this http://www.politico.com/blogs/bensmith/0908/Palin_answers_on_abortion_gay_marriage_scrubbed_from_conservative_website.html
and follow the highlighted "still lives"

(You can use reverse dns lookup to confirm that the ip address on the "still lives" link belongs to google.)

You can see that google has cached Palin's responses to an eagle forums questionnaire. Of course, it's possible eagle forums has fabricated this response from Palin. Or maybe google has fabricated the deleted web page. Yes, that sounds more reasonable. It's also possible Palin has changed her opinion in the past few days.

Here's the specific question:
1. Complete the sentence by checking the applicable phrases (you can check more than one).
Abortion should be:
Banned throughout entire pregnancy.
Legal to save the life of the mother.
Legal in case of rape and incest.
Legal if the baby is handicapped.
Legal if the baby has a genetic defect.
Legal in the first trimester.
Legal in the second trimester.
Legal in the third trimester.

Here's Palin's answer:
"SP: I am pro-life. With the exception of a doctor’s determination that the mother’s life would end if the pregnancy continued. I believe that no matter what mistakes we make as a
society, we cannot condone ending an innocent’s life."

Assuming, though, on the admittedly very distant possibility that Google is not pulling a fast one, and that the Eagle Forums didn't fabricate this, and that Palin said this and still holds to it (impossibly remote but bear with the fantasy), IF she said this and still agrees with it, would that mean she is against a woman's right to choose?
