" It has not been proven by anyone making the claim. No, pro-life and pro-choice are not mutually exclusive, they are simply two different points of view. We are all entitled to our views and opinions are we not?" You are expressing your view in a way with which I am unfamiliar. I have heard people say that they are "against abortion" but "pro choice."
I have never heard anyone use the terms "pro choice" and "pro life" as anything but antonyms, but I don't spend a lot of time talking about (or even thinking about) politics. So I was ignorant of that. Ignorance cured (in this instance) and I thank you.
Yes. We are all entitled to our views. I agree with that. However, "what constitutes proof?" I'm not much into proof unless we're talking about math, so I'm going to reframe that as "what constitutes evidence?" Where do we go to find it? We seem to agree that 1. people just repeating the same stupid thing over and over doesn't make it less stupid (or false) 2. random pages from disgruntled people (even if the facts are correct) aren't reliable without some external support.
Maybe we also agree that 'reliable' sources are sometimes just mistaken.
And yet we don't just ignore everything. What conditions cause us to say "I don't think I can ignore this?"
"Come on! Are we really going to venture into the conspiracy theory realm of disappearing threads that would prove what we claim if they weren't missing?"
I'm not sure a conspiracy theory is necessary and I'm also not sure it's avoidable.
It is a fact that a page purporting to be from eagle forums alaska is cached at the aforementioned link. It is a fact that site is an official google site.
I see two very general possibilities in this regard:
1. Someone has somehow hacked a fake page into google, 2. The page was genuine.
It's not impossible that someone has hacked google (or blogspot which belongs to google), but suggesting it sounds like a conspiracy theory.
If the page is (or was) genuine, then the question is why was it deleted in the last few days, according to websites that were linked to it. The timing is very suspicious. Of course, this too sounds like a conspiracy theory.
The choices I see both involve conspiracy theories. The first presumes the involvement of a pretty clever liberal hacker and the collusion of various sites that linked to or copied from the original article. The second presumes a blogger who does not understand google caching.
Sex is not the only way to get aids - I once knew a nurse who got aids from a patient. Sadly she died leaving behind 3 young children and a very devastated husband - not exactly YOUR view of aids. I have also had several students who contracted aids from their mothers, now while it might be possible for a 5th grader to get aids from sex it is highly unlikely. Again, these children have a death sentence at worst and a life of health problems at best - again innocent victims. Should we not find a cure for them?
Maybe when/if it hits YOUR family you will become a little more compassionate.
Careful, your medical ignorance is showing quite clearly. Maybe a little research before spouting your opinions would help others take your rant seriously.

It is ironic that in the last part of his comments he says we need exactly what the people of FFL have posted as their position.
