Depending on how much you make, you will probably fare better under Obama's tax proposal.

The US Chamber of Commerce is a powerful voice for health care cost and the nation's largest business lobby.

"they could decide not to buy unhealthy food and use the money they saved not buying that unhealthy food and instead use it to take the bus to a more healthy store."

Seriously, do you even read your post before you post it? So if they don't buy the unhealthy food and use the money they save to take a bus to a more healthy store what are they going to use for money once they get there? Really, how much food can you carry home by yourself if you are taking a bus to and from the grocery store? How many trips would it take? If you have to take your children with you you also have to pay the fare for them as well. Maybe you didn't understand that?

Two years ago I took my 3 children, now young adults, to Boston to check out the college my son is currently attending. We used public transportation to get around - all I could think about during that trip was how much I missed being able to just jump in the car and drive to a store. I seriously wondered how people who HAD to take public transportation did their grocery shopping - I would never want to have to feed a family of 4, like I do, riding a bus to and from the grocery store!
