"I beg to differ. That is exactly all we have from Obama."
It's clear to me that you do not understand the evidence I have presented. I do not consider it likely that you are willfully ignorant. The good news for the Palin/ McCain ticket is that to most Americans the Internet might just as well be magic.

"Expunged? Interesting choice of words. The only expungements I am familiar with are those of court records after arrests but what do I know."
Another site you might find useful is m-w.com

Please - even if a bill was passed the allowed drilling in off-shore waters or in the protected areas of Alaska do you realize that we would not see the benefit until 2018 at the earliest????? Do you understand that it would do little if anything to bring the cost of gasoline down? Do you understand that part of the problem in the US isn't the supply of oil but the fact that we have so few refineries? Another part of the problem is that we are now competing with countries like China and India, who are becoming more industrialized and therefore using more oil than ever before, and more world-wide demand raises the price? It is simple Econ 101.

Sure I might want Palin since she slashed educational funding for special needs students by 62% in 2007 - and she is Governor of a wealthy state. Of course now that she is the parent of a special needs child she might be willing to rethink that position. Seriously do some research before you make sweeping generalizations and take things out of context - some of us actually read and follow the news, not hype.

"Finally, we get to the real gist of the posting of this alleged incident. Anger that there is no bad stuff to show off?"
No idea what you're talking about. The alleged incident has actual evidence to support it. Further I never indicated that it was "bad stuff." I indicated that it expressed very clear views from Mrs Palin - and I later indicated suspicion that it was deleted so soon after the VP announcement.

There is very good evidence to support that the incident occurred. There is no evidence of which I am aware that it was staged. The collusion and conspiracy needed to fake this seems pretty extensive to me.

In principle I agree, but I haven't been happy with the Republican side either, from my perspective it seems big business gets too many breaks.

I agree that the welfare system is broken, and the welfare to work program has gotten many people off the roles, but not enough. I think the rules themselves need to be addressed. Unfortunately partisan politics won't get it done. Until we have a president and a congress who are willing to work together it won't happen. One of my biggest problems right now is the partisanship that has developed in the last eight years. True we have a Democratic majority right now, just barely, but it still takes 2/3 to get things done and unless BOTH sides of the aisle are committed to working together it won't happen. No offense but I just don't see that happening in a McCain/Palin ticket if the tone of her speech is any indication.

There will be no working across party lines as long as this hatred stuff brings success.

Oh please - do you even remember the smear campaign against McCain by the Bush campaign just eight short years ago?? Here I thought we could have a reasonable discussion about issues we seemed to have a tentative consensus on and you have to sink to name calling -
ho hum same old game.

"Cute! I know what the word means, the comment was a notice of what you must be familiar with to use that particular word."
I see. If you suspect my background is law, you are mistaken. My master's is in engineering math and computer science. My job title is 'research staff member.' I prefer not to divulge the industry, but it is not law. I support scientists by building computer models and doing analyses.

"When you get your proof back from the netherland. Let me know."
The Internet is hardly a nether land, although I'm sure it seems like magic to most people. Dutch is not the Lingua Franca here. I remind you that I offer not proof, but evidence. That you fail to make any effort to understand it, does not mean it does not exist. Nor am I trying to convince you. I only offer the evidence so that those who have an interest and are willing to do a modicum of homework and have an attention span capable of ingesting more than sound-bites might be able to examine it. You aren't interested. Okay.
