~As the CL pointed out in another post there is the morning after pill for rape and incest victims~
In an ideal world that would be enough (but then if it were an ideal world those things wouldn't happen anyway - I know you know this, but should that so do I lol)
Given that there is only a very limited time in which the morning after pill works, it's not really the answer IMHO to the situation for many of those who find themselves pregnant due to incest
"There is a little bit more involved here than vacation revenue. The cost of groceries and everything else has jumped along with the cost of gas."
Sorry but that 'vacation revenue' is one of the MAJOR employment sectors on the whole Eastern Shore - providing pay so people can buy food. It is also a MAJOR source of revenue for our state - providing money for much needed services like education> So I was just wondering if you think my area should lose 'vacation revenue' because other areas are affected by high oil prices? Not sure if I read your post right.
Well, since you say you live on the Coast, and operating on the assumption that we are all in this together, if a hurricane hit your home and/or town should the rest of us pay taxes for FEMA to provide you with assistance?
If so, then I guess whatever small effect on the vacation revenue the oil drilling would have, and that has been greatly over exaggerated, would kind of be part of the whole we are in this together thing wouldn't it? There are oil platforms in the Gulf.
And again, as you apparently missed it the first time, telling someone they'd more quickly find the precise inforamtion they are looking by looking themselves is NOT a personal or belittling comment
How soon they forget......McCain is no fan of Bush. Anyone old enough to have paid attention during that period should remember, or if you've read any of McCain's books.
I'd like to add that this extends to either choice, in my opinion.

You have a problem, report the posts.
I'm really sorry for what they went through, and glad that they have you for support.
