It was underway before McCain chose her.

I disagree with you, but I'm pretty sure

"The whole troopergate investigation BS was designed by her detractors to take up time and add BS to the election."
The Troopergate investigation started before Palin was added to the ticket.

It was started by her detractors mad over reforms and dealing with corruption.

" Come on nothing is secret in political circles. Of course I do love the fact that the Obama camp had no clue it would be her that was picked. "

Obama supporters knew that Palin would be picked as VP and began a calculated attempt to discredit her in advance, but did not think to inform Obama. One thing I have always found curious about conspiracy theories is how very simple inconsistencies are ignored.

"She is running for Vice President not President. Everyone seems to be forgetting that. "
Nobody is forgetting that. It has been pointed out numerous times that one of the important functions of the VP is to take the place of the president should he become incapacitated. The president has ENORMOUS power to create laws and to appoint agency heads who can create laws that hold nearly the same weight as those passed by congress.

"She gave money back to the citizens of Alaska after being elected Governor"
This was relatively simple to manage by increasing taxes on the oil companies.

"Obama is going to pick our pockets to play Robin Hood to his constituents."
Histrionic people made similar shrill assertions in the industrial age, before the first labor laws were passed. Of course, *after* the law was passed is when the IA really took off, because having people with leisure time and a little spending money created newer industries and more economic and social growth.

Really, are these the same people he would have on his staff as President?

The IPI is not a non-partisan group. According to wiki, Ferrara himself supports the Bush plan to privatize social security, meaning encouraging people to put their lifeline retirement moneys into the market that is even now crumbling about us. Moreover, there are non-partisan groups who disagree with Mr. Ferrara.

According to this article:
http://www.suntimes.com/news/politics/obama/1031268,CST-NWS-tax30.article

"The rich would pay more under Barack Obama's tax plan, and the poor and middle-class would pay less, a nonpartisan analysis finds. Under John McCain's plan, the rich would pay much less than they do now, the poor and middle-class would pay a bit less, and the federal deficit would grow, the study found."

This is based on actually reading his tax plan. Ferrara is making projections - based on some (formal or informal) model. It would be interesting to see the reasoning behind his conclusions and whether they are just standard partisan boilerplate or whether he has actual data to support his claims.
