We've already seen a thread whose entire support was nothing but the opinion of someone named Steve on a blog.

Personally, it's because...

- McCain favours force over diplomacy

- you are our allie, and we have obligations under NATO, and McCain was concerned about the Pakistan/Iraq "border",

And by the way, I'm still trying to imagine someone not caring if Obama or Biden were currently under investigation.

Actually, I had asked if there were "any citations at all offered for such "facts" re: your last list of "facts".

Most of what's offered on your 2nd list happened before Palin was chosen as a VP candidate.

I think she's probably happy to comply, has nothing to hide, and did nothing unethical. I believe this whole stonewall was cooked up by RNC campaign strategist to continue the "Sarah is under attack" myth. Even O'Reilly and Hannity thinks that she should be allowed to clear her name before the election - Stevens is asking for that.

Also, when I heard the "October surprise" comment, I understood him to be saying that he didn't want it to look like they were trying to spring anything at the last minute, good or bad.

Her instincts were to just deal with it, and her instincts are probably the best thing about her. The RNC needs to get out of her way, and stop relying on the same old tactics. It's too transparent (to most).

Now that is a really interesting possibility!

ITA but it's only speculation based on her past openness.
