Palin's unretouched Newsweek cover

This week's cover on Newsweek features an unretouched photo of Sarah Palin that appears to show every flaw and imperfection.

the photo is sexist - but to me, it says nothing about her and everything about the photographer and how he chose to sexualize a candidate.
haven't seen the un-airbrushed photo. i would speculate the "folksy" image is the reasoning behind the 'au naturel' shot - but there were other ways to handle that same visual. depends on policy about airbrushing other photos. but in general i would say it was intended to be unflattering. if they did it to Hillary Clinton and not the other "boys" in the Senate, i'd be cranked.

I think there is both.
I just looked at the Newsweek cover and didn't really think there was anything wrong with it.

Okay, now I'm frustrated.
LOL!
Airbrushed or not airbrushed?
It doesn't even seem like he is looking up her skirt to me.
I don't think it's the women that are getting upset.
