Lavoy apologized multiple times during a brief speech during prayer services at the ADAMS Center in Sterling, one of the largest mosques in the country.

How many times is he going to apologize.. And at what cost? Two more of our army servicemen were killed, but go ahead Mr.President apologize so we can bury our own dead in peace! You're right, He is a fool and he has no backbone when it comes to foreign affairs. Maybe a beer summit is in order, shudder....

I think both you and the original poster entirely missed the point that Obama and other military officials have apologized because they hoped to avoid the violence which would lead to more deaths, including those of our soldiers and sailors.

Your claim was that if others did not have family there they shouldn't speak. I do have family currently in Afghanistan so guess many of us can also have an opinion.

There is nothing wrong with apologizing for doing something wrong. Contrary to what some people believe, it is not a sign of weakness.

Capturing OBL just happened to occur on Obama's watch, Just like 9/11 happened on Bush's.. Frankly, I think the president is clueless about a lot of things foreign related, Padreas deserves the credit for OBL.
