Of course they do. Everyone can find ways to make cut backs. Look at what they went through during WWII. Where there is a will there is way. I would bet there are very few you can find that couldn't find ways to cut back. The problem is that today we claim things like cell phones are necessities. Oh how spoiled we've become.
And it's just that type attitude that people fail to get ahead.
If poor peasants in China can manage to save upwards of 25% of the paltry income--everyone in the USA can get buy with less. At least they could be looked at as federal taxpayers--no matter how small their contribution may be.
