Bush-- You discussed it four years ago, but what measures have you taken to be tougher on criminals in this country?

Kerry-- You've been boasting about running for president at least since college; did you gather your military experience essentially for good presidential resume building?

Edward-- Did you proceed with malpractice suits for monetary gain knowing the cases should've never been filed? Wait-that's a given. How 'bout - "Aren't you too inexperienced to be VP?

Cheney-- Is what they say true? Are you secretly calling the shots?

Mrs. Bush-- Are you really as good-natured as you appear?

Mrs. Cheney-- Are you ashamed of your gay daughter?

Mrs. HKerry-- Are you a high-society snob pretending to understand the trials of the poor?

Mrs. Edwards-- Do you have nannies raising your children?

Bush - Under what circumstances and through what mechanisms/organizations/contributors did you decide/obtain funding/etc. to make your run for president?

Kerry - How can we possibly fix (Long term - as in 50 years, not 5 years) SOc Sec/Medicare without either charging wealthier retirees more premiums, increasing payroll taxes, or decreasing benefits?

Edward - What level of tort reform do you think could be enacted to drive down frivolous lawsuits while maintaining a course of last resort for true victims?

Cheney - Given your obvious intelligence, background in Government, and political insight, what were your TRUE impressions of George W. as he was being prepped to claim teh Rep nomination --- did you really, truly see him as an inspiring leader, or was it a packaged persona solidify a right base but sell to moderate swing voters.

Mrs. Bush - (I'll just point out that I don't think I need to know or inquire on spouses positions --- I have no problem reacting to what they choose to say, but I believe that in a modern marriage, we're assuming that any candidate, male or female, is certainly taking input from a strong spouse, but will make their own decisions) That said, I would ask which party's platform she felt represented the most opportunity for her children, both economically, socially, and more abstractly in promoting the future of women and their potenital for growth and leadership in this country. Oh, and why?

Mrs. Cheney - I think I would ask Mrs. Cheney the same question I asked her husband. I often think that VP candidates (NOT ALWAYS, BUT OFTEN) are better qualified than the head of teh ticket, but deemed less 'electable', so I'd like to hear that response from both Cheneys, who seem damned smart.

Mrs. HKerry - More personal, but one I find interesting --- how did you succeed in blending your family with Kerry's after your husband's tragic death, especially given that the political climate (us vs. them) had soured significantly from teh time Kerry and Heinz were Dem/Rep colleagues and the time you ultimately married.

Mrs. Edwards - How did you reach teh decision, after your son's death, to start a second family. As someone who has done IVF, there's a bunch of technical stuff I'd like to ask, which I won't go into here, but ultimately, how did you reach this decision, what challenges are you facing, and how will you raise those young children in the limelight of national politics?

Oh --- and I'd like to suggest a bonus question - identify one more person not on the list, same rules, that you would like to ask...

Colin Powell --- what were/are your actual views on the president's approach leading up to our invasion of Iraq and do you think that the most appropriate course was taken, both militarily and diplomacy-wise.

Wende
