The author sounds pretty desperate and grasping for anything to write about....Just my opinion.

That's a good piece. I particularly liked mention of the nativist anti-immigrant sentiment situation would not be where/what it is today had McCain won. I think that he would likely have just continued to try to enforce existing law, and that Republicans in Arizona wouldn't have made the issue out of it that they have. I think that long-term, the Republicans are making a major mistake with this Arizona movement. And, I think that if McCain had won, the rise of right wing militias simply wouldn't have happened.

Many on the right, myself included, tried to point out to people Obama = Bush. I myself was called nothing more than a hard-core RWer trying to scare moderates and liberals away from Obama. But... that gets back on that old topic of

I guess that's all the left has now. It is painfully clear that Obama's policies are failing. So....the only possible spin they have is that.......wait for it........it could have been worse.
