While in some ways having a black president overcame some barriers, Obama in office has exposed prejudices that have been hidden below the surface for decades now. Not all who oppose him are bigoted, but I suspected a sizeable percentage are, given what we see in the way of attacks, 'humour', etc.

<< Again, show us the links to Obama's college transcripts...>>

*** Is he president or appying for admission to a graduate programme somewhere? Why in hell does that or birth certs matter? He is president, debate the issues he tries to solve, and leave tne nonsense out of it.

You can think what you wish. However, I and others have posted such links on these boards. In fact, I'm sure I've argued this with you before in the past. It's simply not worth my time to do so again.

I never demanded that Bush cough up all his records nor did any liberals that I know of. We (me and my friends and family) don't think that the public has a right to demand every little bit of history of any public person. It's ridiculous.

Day of Silence:

Boycotts against it: http://afa.net/Detail.aspx?id=2147505197

More sniveling about it: http://www.lc.org/index.cfm?PID=14100&PRID=1055

And using it to proselytize and tell gay kids that they are sinners:

Oh stop, or else follow the conversation.

I'm calling BS on independents being more inclines to trust Obama on the deficit.
This is what I found page 17

dyrtymary, I'll call you on that. I saw that in an issue of Time two months old. I can't find that poll, but I did find a newer one, and though the margin on Independents is narrower, Obama still has a slight edge.

Hey, nice try! By the way, notice in the poll you posted how Independents view cutting Medicare and how they view raising taxes on those earning over 250K. Guess who holds those positions.

Obama wins next year, just as Clinton won in 1996, and Bush won in 2004. Set your sights on 2016.
