I haven't seen much of it, but I am watching Ann Romney speaking right now. Boy, is she good.

And when it said that they've been married for 43 years, I thought that must be a typo. What was she, four or something when they got married? She looks pretty good for 63. She looks pretty good for 43.

If Trump turned Democrat and pulled the same stunts, I'd be screaming for him to quit making us look bad.

I am not impressed by words but by facts.  His so far outlined economics by Ryan do not match the math.  I think he is a disaster.  Government is not business.  Politics at congressional level is not a state and his (Romney's) state record was not good at all.

Yet, you can't see the glaring, dishonest, anti-American, failure of a president we now suffer under.

They are politicians!  What is the definition of a politician?  Anti American?  Where is that coming from?

Sounds very Trumpish. But don't bash him too much, he might be a democrat next time around.

His spot was cancelled because they had to reschedule everything due to not having speeches on Monday. Trump had an Obama impersonator and Trump was going to tell him "you're fired!" Yeah, cute, isn't it? Blech.

I agree that she looks good for 63 as does Mitt Romney. Joe Biden's wife looks fantastic too for her age.

I haven't been watching the convention so can someone tell me what Donald Trump's big convention surprise was. Haven't heard a word about him.

For me, Ann Romney's looks are of little concern.  Her character is more important.  But she was so effusive about her husband's talents that I couldn't help but recall the scathing comments made by conservatives when they sarcastically referred to the "Obamessiah".

To hear Ann tell it, her husband is the Romneyredeemer:

This man will not fail.

This man will not let us down.

This man will lift up America!

Romney made enormous amounts of money for himself, his company, and his investor clients through corporate raiding tactics.  We are meant to believe that he will somehow "lift" all of us?  Color me incredulous!

If she had any surgery, they sure did a good job, because she doesn't look like any of those Hollywood celebrities that have so obviously had work done. She looks pretty natural, and from her speech, anything but a Stepford wife.

Having MS and being a cancer survivor, I think she has had a large dose of "real life".

I am a staunch Democrat, and I am watching, envisioning Amy Poehler on Saturday Night Live as Ann Romney. She looks like she has had a lot of plastic surgery...and like a Stepford wife to me...but maybe I just think she is naive and protected from real life.
