Why do you think McCain is better and why do you think Obama wants a socialist nation?

The trouble with earmarks is that they aren't inherently wasteful, they just don't go through the regular appropriations process. The process does allow for some spending that some consider wasteful, but not all. It is the process that is objectionable and many in congress dislike them.

To his credit McCain walks the talk.

AMEN!

Since when does ANYONE, corporate exec or poor mom, have the right to ANYTHING from our government other than that which is outlined in the Constitution?

Right to a house? A car? Food? A job? We have the right to the PURSUIT of happiness, NOT the government SUBSIDIZATION of it!

if i have a dollar (which was taxed as it passed from my company to my hand), and i invest it by buying some stocks....then i want to invest it in something else, i have to get that cash back in hand (paying taxes on it again) then re-invest it.....then pay taxes on it when i finally cash that investment out....

depending on how many times he re-invested...it was taxed each time he sold and saw a profit, or if he realized dividends.

if you follow the life of a dollar, it sees MANY taxations.

When I put part of my earned income toward my 401k, I do not pay a double tax on it, just like when Warren puts part of his earned income toward capital gains.

The working poor contribute quite a lot. Think of all of the janitors, preschool teachers/child care workers, LVNs, migratory farm workers, bus drivers, etc. without whom our world would be a very different place. Society absolutely relies on the working poor.

I am person that chooses the person.I am behind McCain.I watched their biographies.I am of the age that I like that McCain has military experience.I don't think Obama is socialist. But he is too liberal for me.The older I get the more conservative I get.I wish there was just more mixing and looking for the answers. No one "party " has all the solutions.
