(funny the dems cry about abortion and how just a small change in the law about late term will somehow cause all abortion to be illegal, but yet they don't think taking away just one type of gun won't affect all guns?)
Oh for goodness sake, you're going to start with that again?! It's already been pointed out more than once that abortion and gun rights cannot be compared equally. We have a constitutional right to bear arms but there is no constitutional right to our reproductive freedoms - we have to fight for those.
But Patricia, there's always a "what if" in every situation. I'm not saying in any way that America deserved what happened on 9/11 but we certainly haven't done ourselves any favors by going to war with a country that was not involved with the attacks.
But for those who live in the 'land of what if,' is anything ever done, except maybe a futile exercise of 'top this if you can.'

And I'm not really convinced that Sadaam Hussein didn't have WMD's, as there were reports that he was transferring them to Syria prior to the U.N. inspections, to remain until the U.N. weapons inspectors had completed their inspections.
And as I said in a different thread, maybe if Bush had been getting regular bj's he would have been level headed enough to not start a war with a country that was not involved in 9/11.
When the oil companies went to congress asking to have their $18 billion dollar subsidies extended, it was the DEMOCRATS who asked "why are you asking for more when you are not drilling on 80% of the land that is leased to you for drilling?"

That's okay - there wasn't an original thought in that post.

"Here is the reason we went to war with Saddam, along with liberating 20 million from tyranny."
Going to war with Iraq was always the plan, from before he was even elected.

On one point I think your blame is misplaced.
When the oil companies went to congress asking to have their $18 billion dollar subsidies extended, it was the DEMOCRATS who asked "why are you asking for more when you are not drilling on 80% of the land that is leased to you for drilling?"

I asked you before, what's the "fair share" for people to pay?
