I appreciate McCain's experience, his ability to foment action rather than lots of talk, his willingness to defy even his own party if he thinks it's the right thing to do, that he isn't stymied by some dictated party line, like Obama has shown himself to be.
total distortion and innuendo. is that the hallmark of a great post?
addiction to drugs - yes, an exaggeration His work with ACORN - This bothers me very much. ACORN is great at promoting voter fraud. Connections to the Weathermen - Sorry if I don't believe him when he says he hardly knows William Ayers. He was Obama’s employer, colleague, and political supporter.

1) if the remark about drug addiction is slanderous, then why would you believe the remaining statements to be any different?
2) please provide evidence from an original source (not an opinion piece) that "ACORN is great at promoting voter fraud."
3) Ayers was not Obama's employer. their association has been discussed a length on this board and elsewhere.
if you are concerned by tenuous associations that are overblown by strategists to manipulate emotions, then we should also consider McCain's close ties to the Keating scandal - the financial mess of the 1980's in which the Senator had his hand slapped over deregulation of S&L's. unfortunately, this sounds too familiar.

I'm not here to try to please you, and won't be responding to any more of your combative posts.

After the marry-the-dog thing, I'm really curious.
Because even schools should be de-regulated? ;)
