Why do you think McCain is better and why do you think Obama wants a socialist nation?

As I have said before I also support American thru thick & thin.. I was in the freaking military serving her for crying out loud. I don't know why you keep repeating that as if somehow you don't think I am loyal to my country simply b/c I want change. That's narrow minded.

<>

Racist? Hardly. If you really want to go down the guilt by association route what about Todd Palin's membership in AIP? AIP whose leader/founder stated "I am an Alaskan NOT an American. I want nothing to do with American & her damned institutions." Not very supportive of our great nation.

<>

I totally agree.. so let's talk about McCain's past associations shall we? Including the anti-semetic organization he was CHAIRMAN OF THE BOARD on.

<>

Good to know.. I totally agree again.

>>You are scared of the words you hear and you are not sure what to believe. Well, you can educate yourself on whatever you do hear. At the same time, you have right to vote for candidate who ever he may be regardless of other people opinion.<<

I don't have any problem with what to believe, and agree with the other poster that people who express the beliefs you've expressed are frightening.

Shrug, I'm not sure the government under Saddam Hussein was really worth admiring, that we should be sorry it's gone.

Well I suppose that depends on what you wish to comment on.

Iraq is not, nor has it ever been, the central front for terrorists.

I'm not sure I agree, only because of the many resources the terrorists funneled into the country.

The phrase I responded to is pertinent, then.

I was a therapist in HI but I stopped doing it because Commanders don't listen when a therapist says, "this soldier is not fit(mentally) to redeploy. I had one soldier that was not fit, his commander deployed him, and he ate his gun while he was in Iraq. I moved to Army housing only to have to comfort widows who were not getting the support they needed for the military.

I have my own horror stories, good friends of mine who've lost a great deal.

I just wanted to point out that the poll kateandzacksmom posted was a poll of deployed soldiers whereas, if I'm understanding you correctly, the poll you brought up is of "military members". I think that distinction certainly could account for the difference in the poll results.
