It's true that Mr. Obama is taking us down the road to socialism.

That might be a way, but I'm not sure how that would work safety wise. Wouldn't some sort of cord or wire have to go from the "hitching post" to the vehicle, and wouldn't that create a safety problem in a public area (like with electricity/children/rain)?

They would install charging stations like parking meters (and like meters, you'll probably pay to charge).

When the EVs were in California a decade ago, several charging stations were put in public places - a few civic buildings and a few malls.

It may seem logistically impossible, but that is because we envision using todays technology. If there is money to be made figuring out to charge plug-in hybrids and EVs, then someone will come with a solution.

Charging stations (like today's service stations) would be a great idea.

>>wow, and it was most likely the seller that was paying that realtor.<<

LOL! You really think?

Actually--it was the bank and perhaps even me as a high bracket tax payer!

You see the seller owed the bank $157,000 on the mortgage. I bought the house for $78,000. The seller got two new trucks and some breast implants out of the deal though--you know they cash they got from the bank when they refinanced the second time!

The realtor knew exactly what she was talking about.

I do believe it would be possible to have a place to plug in your car in an outdoor area. I have family who live in the interior of Alaska. In the winter it is necessary to plug in cars for the engine block heaters so they are able to restart them. I've personally seen parking spots at the store where you can plug in your car while you're in shopping.

(It just means that more people than usual are on the brink with more being added every day.)

(Additionally, people living in condominiums, townhomes/rowhomes, and apartments may not have the "facilities" available to wash their cars.
