It's true that Mr. Obama is taking us down the road to socialism.

FYI, Obama does NOT SUPPORT a driving gas tax. No, back in Colonial Days the GENTRY was in control. Please don't blame Rendell on the rise in Electric for Pa. It's PP&L. Rendell is trying to stop them from raising our rates by 35% for homeowners and 45% for businesses.

When did they start going to 5.0? I thought 4.0 was the highest you could get, you know C is in the 2.0 range and B is in the 3.0 range, and A is in the 4.0 range, Did we all of a suddenly get another letter added to the alphabet?I'm serious, I'm just asking.

I thought we broke from England because of Freedom from the Church of England. That we no longer wanted England and the King to rule our colonies. I know for the longest time they still said "God save the King" We wanted to be free of the taxes that England imposed because they actually "owned us" in Colonial Days, before the Reveloution. The people back then were actually owned by the wealthy Gentry. They worked and were paid by the Wealthy Gentry. There were 3 classes of people, basically what we have today. Like they say"The more things change, the more they stay the same" did you know if you stole a horse, you could be hung? did you know if you didn't go to Church at least once a month you could be fined? did you know that Witches were trialed and if found guilty, they werre burned at the stake? Yes, we had torture back then. If you were a thief, like stealing food for your family, you were branded with a "T"?

Did you work for a company called "Dial America?I used to get a lot of calls from them. My sIL's ex husband worked for Commerce Clearing House, he sold Law Books and di quite well at it. but he was a horse's butt. He used to insult her and beat her, that's why she divorced him, then he married a woman 20 years younger than himself. There may be a lot of jobs, but I'm sure there are tons of applicants also.

When I was in HS (graduated in 93) you could get a 5.0 if you took all AP classes that applied to the college level, however these were all adjusted for valedictorian selections so that everyone had the 4.0 scale.
