Ummm..sorry will not post my taxes for you to view, but good try. My health insurance had not risen in over a decade. We did receive a letter stating the reason for our increase was because of the reform passed. For the flex spending, the cut from 5k to 2500 certainly did hurt more people. Now we pay additional taxes then use the money for HC...just one tax increase.

Obama is the least likely to protect my family, So far he has taxed us more, caused our HC to rise, cut our health spending accounts, added so many trillion to the debt for my children...ummm, no he could care less about my needs or direction I believe our cou try to focus on. The social issues are what seems to be in the news, but they are seriously the least important changes we need.

Har... the president who in three years bagged more members of the al Qaeda membership, and who played a successful role in ousting Gadhaffi, that president?

Oh... when did he raise your taxes? Last I knew, health care premiums have been rising at a crazy rate for thirty years.

Seriously... do any of you actually look at things across many years, presidency to presidency (aside from looking back at Democratic presidencies to blame them?) The deficits skyrocketed under Bush, starting with tax cuts, and then accelerated as both Bush and Obama responded to the needs of our economy - on that I give Bush and Obama a pass, they both did what they had to do - unless of course you would prefer to have *nothing* now, which is exactly what you would have had those deficits not been incurred. They were emergency measures.

This country was in good shape in 2000. By the time Obama took office, it was in shambles. I see people blame him for jobs lost, as if a president is immediately responsible for everything that went wrong the moment of taking office.

Funny... I gave Bush a chance when he took office, and it wasn't until he started fussing with Iraq that I had enough. Ya'all on the right have blamed Obama for everything from the first day he was in office, a preposterous position to take.

C'mon, Laura. You know that's not what I meant. I meant post a link to taxes going up. Everything I have seen (and in my own experience), taxes have gone down.

You've posted this before. I think you may have the only health care plan in the U.S. that hadn't had costs rise in a decade and then all of a sudden they did.

How so? Did your payroll taxes not go down? Ours did, since we have two wage earners in our household and we've saved about 4K a year in taxes.

We don't need to know your income for you to tell us where you took the hit in additional taxes, otherwise I call BS.

Another BS, health insurance premiums are up 131% for the past 10 years. Why should we think your company was immune to increased costs in the past 10 years without substantiation? Maybe your insured base is getting older and more costly to insure? Afterall, they are 10 years older.

Look on the bright side, you now get mandated.free birth control, isn't that sop enough? ha

The CBO has adjusted the cost of Obama care upward, in fact they have doubled the projected costs of it, that money is going to come from some place. Most people don't realize or care that medical device makers received a tax hike, people with HSA or FSA had the amount of money they could save cut, with no more deductions for over the counter medications. Surtax on investment incomes will increase, employee mandate tax coming down the pike.
Punitive taxes on various healthcare providers, employers and insurers if they don't fall in line with the myriad mandates.
Yes he and his synchophants in congress have and will tax us more.
Then there is the war on energy which is tantamount to a war on women, blacks and every other minority as well as white men. It has raised the price of energy just as he and Chu envisioned. It is going to affect this economy and shut down what ever meager rebound we have seen coming out of the recession.
My HC has gone up too, didn't he claim our premiums woudln't rise under Obamacare, didn't I hear that?

"As for the debt, this country would have gone into a major depression if the government hadn't spent money. "
Unprovable.

As are claims to the contrary, but the evidence suggests you err.

I guess these don't count. Of course, this is from the Daily Caller, so it must be all made up.

Today marks the second anniversary of the signing of the jobs-killing Obamacare law. That law contains 20 new or higher taxes on American families and small employers. At least seven of these tax increases fall directly on families making less than $250,000 per year. This is a direct violation of candidate Obama’s “firm pledge” against “any form of tax increase” on these families.

Why it would be Obama... Santorum the least. Santorum is the Inquisition in modern form. This man would strip freedom from you faster than you can pick up and shake a stick. I can't believe all these grand freedom fighters have it all backwards.

Yeah, that is really funny! Santorum would uphold the Constitution, which protects us from government. Obama, you know, the guy that wants to force us to purchase healthcare against our will, will not, and has not.
