Scared? Afraid?

I have read several posts where people say they are scared if either McCain or Obama wins.
ASSUMING that most posters have a belief/faith to their God of choice, why are you scared?
Yes, the U.S is currently a mess and may get worse under EITHER administration, but next January, there will still be your faith and your God, who will be the ONE who gets you through.
For Christians who say that you are afraid, doesn't the word say that we are to fear nothing but God himself?
I understand, concern for the welfare of you and yours, but scared?
EVERYDAY we are under the possible terroist attack here at home, but are you scared on a daily basis about it - yes concerned but scared?
EVERYDAY there is a possibility that you or your SO may lose a job, but is that one your mind as heavily as Scary Obama and Scary McCain?

I'm not scared. I've already voted (mail-in ballot), I'm fine with my choice. I don't like some things about each candidate, but I've studied enough to know that both are confident, strong, intelligent people who have MONSTROUS egos (a prerequisite for even running for President in most cases). I would hope that each would surround themselves with capable, intelligent cabinet members and advisors to give them solid advice and direction as I don't think that the leaders of each man's campaign have done a very good job of it.
Scared, no. Worried, no, not even that. I prefer the policies of one over the other, I've cast my vote. I've done my part. Now it's just wait and see and live with whatever happens. Frankly I wouldn't want to be either one of them. There are more serious issues at this time, for this election, than there have been in the 20 years I've been voting.

He = God?
If so, then HE never said bad things would not happen.
Keeping our guard up/our govt protecting us at home does not require fear, it requires a govt that is doing their job.
We should always be on the offensive and watch for the enemy, not just when something bad happens.
I also have to disagree that fear make us stronger. Nothing I think that someone may fear makes them stronger… fear of war, fear of a cat, fear of divorce …whatever!
Has the fear of the tragedies of 9/11 REALLY made us stronger? IMO, I am not any safer sitting here 20 minutes from one of the attacks than I was then.
This may be a bit personal, but would you instill fear in your children? I want my children to be courageous, cautious, and aware…not fearful…a horrible emotion.

And, here is a fundamental difference between the two candidates and the way they want to recover the economy.
