Read the bill. It's clearly not a "revenue bill," but, of course, certain "news" outlets don't expect people to actually look for themselves.

There are ways around it. That bill was killed for one reason... to not give the President and Democrats any sort of talking points prior to the election. Otherwise, where there's a will, there's a way. The Republicans had no will to get this done.

Then why not amend the bill? This was a bipartisan effort that a couple of Republicans who helped write then voted against it.

Yes. The first ones to want to use the miltiary are the last to do anything for them. All they wish to do is bloat the budget for defence contractors and their profits.
