The limitation of 2 terms had nothing to do with preventing a dictatorship.
>>>The idea that Congress, with 535 Members (435 in the House and 100 in the Senate) who can't agree on much within Party factions, never mind across party lines, is "dictatorial" because it lacks term limits is absurd in the extreme.<<<
That's your opinion of course.
While I can tell you think I should be...I'm not terribly impressed by much you have to say with regards to your job. I'm sure this doesn't apply to you, but it's my experience that those who talk the most about what they do...actually do the least. That includes members of Congress.
Since you have no idea what I do, or who I am, or what level of influence I have in what areas of policy, you really have no way of judging, do you?
If you are so appalled at the level of work you get out of your Congresspeople, then why don't you exercise your civic rights and elect someone else?
>>>Or, would you really rather have everything done by the unelected staff?
And how much more effecient would you have been with an orientation?
could not have said that better myself
Really?
