Ok let's get real here, how many heart transplant patients are out there compared to the drug addicts that just want temorary relief before they shoot themselves up the next day?

I didn't bring up heart transplants, I just responded to the idea that they should only go to those that can afford the surgery.

One point of disagreement - the first column doesn't list what the procedure "cost" - it lists the "retail price" the doctor, or hospital, chooses to charge someone without insurance coverage.

There is only one retail price that is charged out, it isn't changed based on who is getting the bill.
