This is true, not every cell phone is a contract one. I bought my son one before we went on vacation last Fall. It cost me 60.00. the phone and the prepaid card. He renews it himself now, I did give him a pre-paid card for Christmas.

I would be absolutely 100% behind social services helping with daycare costs, transportation costs and/or some educational costs.

My friend recieved serivces while she was getting her Master's in Social Work. She has three children that she was raising on her own at the time. She now has her Master's in Social Work and is working for CPS. She is struggling more then she was when she had services. This just seems crazy to me.

Lisa that stinks that your friend has an MSW and is still struggling. Has she thought about getting in to other areas of Social Work like private counseling that may pay a bit better? I know there is not a demand for private counseling in many areas though. Social Workers are generally very under paid for the work they do. I have
