How many of you have signs in your yard to support your candidate? The reason why I'm asking is because on my particular street there are NO SIGNS at all for either candidate. I got my 'Obama for President' sign a week ago and I am hesitant to put it up. Am I being to cautious? Feedback please!

You know you're probably right. We'll see tomorrow. I have to say it really is weird there are absolutely no signs in my subdivision at all, I've only lived here since May 04 maybe that's just the way they are here.

four years ago we went through 4 Kerry signs. even used tent stakes on the legs and vaseline on the signs. somehow the Bush signs stayed in place.

this year the neighborhood has foregone signs. none for either candidate. dunno what that means. an Obama worker told me they were putting money elsewhere. fine by me - so we have no signs. but i'm on a cul-de-sac so i don't get much traffic.

Am I reading correctly? Did a few of you say that you have to buy the signs? I've never heard of that!

SOMEONE has to buy them... The signs you get at a party office were donated by someone who bought them or had them made.. it was like $21 for 3 so not a big deal to me. :o) I also make my own designs & have them printed at CafePress at cost... the perks that go with being an artist. ;o)

Yeah see we live on Main Street.. it's a tiny little 900 person town but this is a busy State Route so we get lots of people passing by. :o)

We're not permitted to have political signs in our yards here on-post.

Our candidates here ask if they can put a sign on your lawn, of course someone's paying for them, it's just not the voter. :)

I don't have one for this election (our federal election is tomorrow), mostly because I'm an independant and didn't make my final voting decision until a couple of days ago. I am ashamed to say though that there have been examples of vandalism here, including over a dozen people who's phone and cable
