"The vast majority of those who voted for Obama have NEVER been on welfare and never will be"

As the woman stated in the video, people will now expect the government to take care of them.

Welfare spending has been around under both Republican and Democratic Administrations, although under Reagan's administration they started the myth about the "welfare queen" and a lot of scapegoating started.
"There....is....no...money."
then where is the next administration going to get the money for the latest bailouts and the slew of government jobs that Obama promised would be created and to pay teachers more money and to give "working families" more money back in their paychecks and to give the non-working poor extra money to spend and meet their bills and to give the banks money to cover the mortgages of all the people that defaulted....and so on???????
there is always money that the government can and will spend. Spending is not going to slow down over the next 4 years. Its only going UP UP UP. Have you ever heard of Barney Frank and Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid. The congress has been spending like drunken sailors for the past 5 years and THIS is one of the main reasons for the debt. Pres Bush is not the lone spender, just the one that gets all the blame.

“If, by a ‘liberal,’ they mean someone who looks ahead and not behind, someone who welcomes new ideas without rigid reactions, someone who cares about the welfare of the people – their health, their housing, their schools, their jobs, their civil rights, and their civil liberties – someone who believes we can break through the stalemate and suspicions that grip us in our policies abroad, if that is what they mean by a ‘liberal,’ then I’m proud to say I’m a ‘liberal.’”
-- John F. Kennedy, Democrat
omg, i wish "liberals" would get off their high horse , thinking that they are the only ones that care about the welfare of other people. This definition is hardly the actual definition of a liberal. It is more a definition of a decent human being and the difference between liberals and conservatives lies in the way each feels is the best way to deal with the problems of the day. Stop spreading the notion that liberals/democrats are the ones that care about people and republicans are the ones that only care about themselves. It simply isnt true.
"I have to ask if you really meant what you said about seeing more bad than good in this country?
