I agree. There is no way you could live on minimum wage in my area (NJ). We actually live in a cheaper area now but the town we used to live in 5 years ago, you had to make over $78,000 a year to be above the poverty level. Minimum wage certainly isn't paying that.

Check any news organization under politics and election stats and you will find that Obama kept the well educated vote - in other words the well educated vote put him over Clinton and supported him all the way to the white house. I live in Northern Virginia, the highly educated vote is what turned the state of Virginia Blue.

We watched that in one of my sociology classes. It's incredibly eye-opening, even for people who do have realistic notions of life on minimum-wage.
