How about maybe we all feel we are being overtaxed. If we all were taxed at 15% Bush could have never started his WAR in Iraq. there just wouldn't be enough revenue to pay for it.

karen, i asked about your bf/dh because i have trouble imagining that you were together for any part of those 3 yrs and he didnt help you out (and vice versa) at all...even if it was just being there for emotional support, as some people dont even have that.


i honestly believe you should give some of the 'what if' questions in this thread a bit more consideration. they are all more realistic than 'what if obama invites terrorists to dinner?' i am recommending this for 2 reasons. 1-you mentioned before that you dh brings in most of the househld income, and should his income disappear due to a medical tragedy, or should his income diminish due to the economy (as yours has done already)... i fear your world view would become even more frightening if you arent realistically prepared. and 2-i think it might be very humbling for you to imagine your life with a
