where did i "not respond"?
I just traced back 40 posts, and I responded to every post that was directed at me.

-honestly, i got lost somewhere and i really have no idea what we are debating anymore. just because more people need/qualify to be on welfare does not mean the budget will automatically grow to give them assistance. i remember reading somewhere that about only half the number of people who need welfare actually recieve it. kind of heartbreaking, imo. i guess you can only pull money from nowhere when you need 700 billion for the banking industry. besides, if the goal is to cut $ spent on welfare all of your hurdles will only drive up costs...at least initially.
before you get upset that i "didn't respond" to this thread, i will tell you why i am not responding..this is just going in circles...
what is the point here.
I said what i think, and i also said it would be impossible to prove...
your thoughts on the matter would be equally impossible to prove.
we don't have to keep asking for proof, and we don't have to agree.

brilliant!
you can agree that what i am saying is a problem, is in fact a problem.....and you chose to discuss another topic...without discarding the original topic.
i agree ..... tax fraud is an issue.

And THAT, my friends is how to avoid an issue when you know your being proved wrong and don't want to face it.

me too, this seems to have become quite a spiral.

<<before you get upset that i "didn't respond" to this thread>>
I did not mean to imply that you did not reply to posts. I was referring to the fact that you did not really respond to the issue of corporate cheating and fraud that was brought up by me and other posters. You appeared to gloss over the issue and instead continued to discuss the issue of welfare abuse. That is why I said that your lack of response could lead one to believe that either you fail to recognize the problem regarding corporations or else you thought it was acceptable.
<<your thoughts on the matter would be equally impossible to prove>>
What thoughts would those be? My thought that corporations cost us billions in lost revenue? That can indeed be proved and as a matter of fact, it already has been.

imo, what happnened was i didn't get distracted from the topic at hand.
I did discuss my thougths on corporate waste, and corporate fraud....but the point i was discussing was welfare, and when you came into that discussion, and started talking about something else....i didn't stray far from the track i was on.
you can consider that glossing over it if you want, or you can think i didn't respond, and jump to those conclusions you listed...
but I feel that i was merely staying on track.
I am not saying we shouldn't discuss corporate waste (fraud) i am just explaining why i didn't chose to follow that path.....that doesn't mean any of the things you listed as reasons why i didn't strat from the discussion at hand.
