So what do you make of this?

Glenn Beck has asked Tea Party attendants, not to dress up or wear Statue of Liberty crowns or bring signs that reflect their true nature and the message they really want to convey. He thinks it gives fodder to the public at large.

LOL! He's concerned about the "first impression" these people make. That is hilarious. He wouldn't be a totalitarian and demand that they not wear costumes. Nope...he would merely make the suggestion. What a guy!
That said, tonight on Comedy Central's "The Daily Show," Jon Stewart said that he's holding a rally on the National Mall on October 30th. It will be a "million moderate march" and will be called the "Rally to Restore Sanity." He made suggestions as to the types of signs that will be permitted. It was funny. I'll post a link when it becomes available. Then Stephen Colbert announced that he will have a counter-protest rally titled "March to Keep Fear Alive." Between the two of them, a good time will be had by all. We have a wedding, so I'm probably not going, but I sure would like to (and we're in the neighborhood). My son, OTOH, will likely get a group of friends together to go and "chill" to some free comedy.
LOL! Check out my new siggy.
I disagree with you, but I'm pretty sure
LOL!
I do expect signs like that on the Mall. It would be so cool if they could get ten thousand or more people out there with silly signs, good humor, and good will. I think they should also start demanding/daring the networks to cover them like the tea partiers did.
I disagree with you, but I'm pretty sure
I have heard many "outcry" about how the people who are "riling up" these Tea Party members have a duty to keep it a certain way.
I would say, in your eyes Damned if he does, Damned if he doesn't.
Sorry but since the Media has chosen to show the "Few" bad apples at these events I completely understand Beck trying not to give them any ammunition to continue to falsely paint the Tea Party!
"Sorry but since the Media has chosen to show the "Few" bad apples at these events"
Have you seen that?
