No we did not all receive stimulus checks. Many who paid for them didn't receive them.

Has anyone asked their employer how many more jobs they will be creating next year if they get a tax cut?

I believe in helping the less fortunate. I just don't belive it's the GOVERNMENT'S job to decide for me how to do it, when to do it, or who is less fortunate.

From your posts, I gather that you think it's the government's job to fix poverty and help everyone out. I don't. I think the government has some vital functions: defense, for example; mail; roads; schools. "Helping people out" isn't one of them. That's where charities- both faith based and non-faith based- come in.

For your information, I gladly pay my taxes. I also give money to various charities- a higher percentage of my income than either Obama or Biden have, by the way. I also volunteer my time to help those in need. I spend many hours working for no pay helping those less fortunate than me, who wouldn't otherwise be able to afford

I do. Focus on plans that create the most jobs. You know, teach a man how to fish, don't just give him a fish.

The stimulus package didn't really seem to work that well, did it?

It's interesting to read who really pays the most and who benefits the most from government spending:

Who Gets the Most Government Spending?
