<<The problem was very obvious. It had to do with your very rude or rather ignorant assumption. You mustn't know too many rich people. >>

As if all wealthy people have the same perceptive-

I am really sick of people saying we don't think things through just because we don't agree with you. We are not ignorant we just disagree.

That's what Dr. Phil calls "right fighting".

Even if your number 480,000 small businesses is right, I admit I'm skeptical, play with the numbers. If you say those 480,000 businesses have an average of 50 employees you're talking about 24,000,000 employees. If you say those businesses have an average of 100 employees then you get 48,000,000 employees. Whichever number you want to assume is the average number of employees that those companies have you come up with a lot employees. Even if you use 50, 24,000,000 people right now are concerned about the effect Obama's tax increase will have on their jobs, and rightly so.

Keep in mind that Obama is also telling those small businesses that they have to give each employee 7 (I think it was 7 but don't feel like looking it up) paid sick days. You might think that's no biggie but that's an additional cost of doing business on top of the increased cost caused by aspects of the economy.

We should be lowering taxes on businesses to help and encourage expansion thereby creating new jobs. Not everyone who gets a check in the mail from Obama will get $500, some will get a check for more like $26. I guess people just have to decide if they'd rather help someone have a job or a check.

Sorry, but that plan will not stimulate spending.

Right, people who have solid jobs don't spend money but giving someone a check for $26 will stimulate spending. Well, I disagree.

There are many people who are holding off on spending money they had planned to spend out of fear that Obama might get elected. I've done it and so have many, many others. Those people aren't going to breathe a sigh of relief if Obama wins, they'll hang onto their money. I'm not just talking about the "wealthy" either.

Yes, they're all like Paris Hilton I suppose.

Again, haven't met many I assume. Not that you were aware of since most of them are found mixed among the general population.

Sorry, but the fact is not that many small businesses will be effected by the tax change.

That would be an opinion-not necessarily a fact.
