"That's middle class? Golly I must be considered poverty stricken then. Hitler would've tossed me in the 'showers'."

I'm confused by this statement, are you comparing me to Hitler?

I'm referring to the tax cut for the wealthy and the change in the inheritance tax that only benefited the rich. The rich also don't have to pay into FICA when their income exceed $99,00.

Socialism is taking from one group to give to another.

Allowing people to keep more of what they earn or capping contribution rates (as with social security) which are tied to eventual benefit payments doesn't fall within that definition.

Income redistribution i.e, taking from one to give to another is akin to socialism.

Merely allowing one to retain their earnings does not meet that definition.

Hitler would've tossed me in the 'showers'.

Truly tasteless comment.

What happened with the bail out is the fault of all politicians not just the Democrats.

We don't make near as much as you and we don't qualify for financial aid(besides loans). Sorry $160,000.00 is going to get you a lot closer in paying for your kids to go to school then the less then $120,000.00 we get after taxes. We've worked very hard to make it

I don't think she is. I think the she, as well as several others, are tired of hearing that $160,000.00 is middle class when in fact less then half of that is.
