Looking back over the numbers:
Mexico, India, China, Taiwan, Bangladesh etc....etc.....
<<"Ignore the cynics who say the Republican leaders on Capitol Hill, in Wasilla, and on the airwaves care only about the rich. I don't believe that. I think they are captive to economic theories few of them understand and that are simplistic in the extreme.">>
I agree with that too....
....and over many years posting here and the numerous times I've raised this inconvenient truth, I STILL have never had an answer from all those anti-tax Republicans (the ones who want to go back to the good ol' days as seen through their rose-coloured glasses) if they also want to go back to the level of taxation they had in those golden days of yesteryear.
Just imagine if the top earners today were taxed at the same levels from the 1950s to the 1980s...
I don't want my friends and relatives to lose their jobs, but yes, the security apparatus in this country is just ridiculous. My nephew doesn't work directly for the federal government. Instead he is an employee of a contracting firm. My best friend has worked for the DOD for years and years, even before Bush was running the show.
Yes....I think that we were trending into massive unemployment as early as 2008.

RNC CHAIRMAN MICHAEL STEELE: “For close to a full year the American people have been forced to watch and in many cases bear the burden of our ever increasing national unemployment rate which unfortunately remained in the double digits throughout the month of December.
I believe the unemployment was much lower for Bush over Obama, so make sure and ask him where the jobs are.
The only post on here that was edited was mine because I forgot to add something about my DD. Had nothing to do with un-employment. Unless one would want to consider that she moved from Ohio 4-5 years ago cause there was NO WORK.
When Bush took office, jobs started leaving here. If one doesn't understand that, then there is nothing more I can say. Michigan and Ohio were some of the hardest hit.
The rich did not create jobs here when Bush was in office. I stand by my statement. If someone wants to prove me wrong.... so be it.
Oh, yes. It's raining here. The temp. is 60 degrees. I am not going to walk a mile in this , to buy a pre-paid card, walk back a mile and go into the Columbus Dispatch in their archives to prove a point.
You brought up the original comparison between the jobs now versus under Bush in Ohio.
