He DID lie and they are friends! This little secret was covered up and thanks to Sarah Palin it's FINALLY come to light. Obama has much explaining to do. This man is MUCH more than just "a guy in the neighborhood".

He was 40 at the time Ayres was photographed by the New York Times dancing on the American Flag.

yes it's an overwhelming list and that's my point. just by pure logic, if we want to scream "Obama is a terrorist because he associated with Ayers!" then all these people ALSO associated with Ayers in exactly the same fashion and they are all also terrorists.

i'm make it a little easier and point out a few names.

Doris Salomón Chagin - Community Affairs Director, Midwest US, BP America Inc. -- terrorist?

Patrick M. Sheahan - Executive Director, Public Affairs, UBS Investment Bank -- terrorist?

Cynthia M. Campbell - President, McCormick Theological Seminary -- terrorist?

Ray Romero - vice president and general counsel of Ameritech (formerly AT&T) -- terrorist?

I hope that helps with the ADD.

and as far as sources, you are okay with Fox and the San Antonio Express-News.

(In my southern drawl) Why, thank you Miss Bea for allowing me to consider Fox and SA Express News credible. *eg*

Yeah, but they aren't running for the office of President of the United States. That puts them in a different category.

Why do people who know the least know it the loudest?

How about his relationship with Tony Resko? Maybe we should give him the benefit of the doubt.

Okay, so I was the only one ever called Aunt Bea. Great. Now I feel so alone...

You know, it does bother me to some extent. I could change services I suppose. But again, they aren't running for the highest office in the land. My husband's boss. The most powerful man in the world. The most powerful man in a very changing world. He is, they aren't.

Pretty heady stuff for ANYBODY.

I was discussing this issue with my husband, and the way that he has handled the Rev Wright and Ayers issues actually seem very humble and Christian, even though we also think that he certainly associated with them for political gain as well.

I think that it speaks well of Obama that he can condemn an act or reject an idea held by these men, yet still find value in them as members of the community.
