On Taxes and Tax Cuts

If 40% of low wage earns don't pay any taxes right now, how does Obama propose to give 95% of the taxpayers a tax cut? Wouldn't that be more like 55% instead of 95%? Where did Obama get his figures from? It sounds more like instead of tax cuts, Obama is going to send out more stimulus checks, courtesy of China. That would be the only way he could come up with a 95% figure. Could Obama's tax cuts be no more than smoke and mirrors?

Your point is sadly mistaken.
Under Obama middle class taxes are eased up. Some tax breaks to the very rich are taken back, etc. The failed trickle down theory hasn't worked and isn't working, so let's try and give the people a break for once.>
In what way is it sadly mistaken when they get ALL of their money back under Bush's plan in the first place? The only difference is Obama is giving them a bigger handout. That's what I see. Tax tables and lying leftist sites aside, the lower income brackets get everything back they've paid into the system, plus EITC. Under Obama they'll also get an additional rebate check. That's the only difference. It's not a tax cut that Obama is giving them. It's an additional tax rebate that he has to pay for from somewhere, and that somewhere will be from China.
