HAHAAHAHA.
What makes this even funnier is the first response you got from the person who said, "Who cares what Jon Stewart thinks?" She's missed the point of the obvious gross double standards by the likes of Rove and O'Reilly.

"I did not even bother to view the video, because I chose not to be manipulated, and allow others thoughts and views to supplant my own assessment of the candidates. Hopefully, most voters will not allow themselves to used as pawns, and surrender their vote to others, to be used to broker power to and for they themselves."

if you had viewed the video, you would have seen talking heads - not candidates and not talking about the candidates. if you never listen to television or radio, never read a newspaper or magazine or website, then you may be able to avoid the talking heads that Stewart is exposing. but if you ever have even the slightest contact with media, you are influenced my these heads - and you should know how they shift with the wind and apply double standards. these are the people who manipulate the information that in turn manipulates you.

unless you prefer to avoid hard evidence and facts.

What I find so interesting is the same people who said that Rev. Wright's sermon snippets were taken out of context find John Steward doing exactly the same thing wonderful!

no one said it was news.

and i was happy to have Rev. Wright exposed. like someone else said, let Stewart make the same tape for Dems.

and as long as we are talking about news, i assume you understand that Limbaugh and O'Reilly and Hannity and Oldermann and Matthews and all the other talkaholics are not news either. like Stewart, they may be informative but they are not news.

and in this case, there did not need to be context: the statements made were so hideously contradictory there is no context that would explain it away.

" Plus I don't take John Steward seriously and he is not a place to get the news!"
OUTSTANDING POINT. I have never watched Jon Stewart before this single video clip. Try this: Watch the video, but mute the volume whenever JS speaks. Their own words show how O'Reilly, Morris, Palin, and Rove can be so sincerely convincing one day saying one thing and then a week or two later be absolutely sincerely convincing saying the exact opposite!
