No, what I meant was that you have to keep the situation that prompted the statements in mind. Of course Joe Biden is going to have something to say regarding Obama's experience b/c at the time of the comment he was running against him. You didn't show a clip of Biden saying that Obama was inexperienced and then show another clip of him saying the exact opposite which was the point of the Jon Stewart clip. I think everyone is aware of Obama's experience, or his lack thereof as some would say, and I don't think that anyone's disputing the fact that he is not as experienced as McCain. And as far as the first clip goes, I don't see how it applies at all.

But what you're not getting is that it's his OPINION not a truth or a fact. Opinions can change over time and especially after someone learns more information regarding the subject they were stating their opinion about in the first place.

And btw, I've stated before (although maybe not in this thread) that I'd love to see a similar clip featuring democrats b/c I found The Daily Show clip to be funny. It was humorous and I enjoyed watching it but Comedy Central is not where I get my news nor would I vote for a candidate based on what I see on The Daily Show. My choice to vote for Obama is based on his stance on the issues that are important to me and not on whether or not I think Republicans are hypocritical.

So of course, any time spent discussing Palin is less time devoted to the real problems that Bush and company have created or exacerbated for us over the last 8 years--a brilliant strategy for Mccain.

Whoa, whoa, whoa! Why all the "John Stewart is an idiot" comments? Does anyone have a sense of humor anymore?? Sometimes with our news and media, you have to laugh or else you'll cry! Of course it's not

"On the other hand, picking Palin has done a fantastic job of distracting the country from the huge and very real issues associated with the current administration--the economy, Iraq, energy dependence, the environment, the national debt, etc. All reasons we need a real change, and a new vision for America. So of course, any time spent discussing Palin is less time devoted to the real problems that Bush and company have created or exacerbated for us over the last 8 years--a brilliant strategy for McCain."

omg so absolutely true.

maybe all the dems need to say is: McCain and Palin voted for Bush - twice.
