Rose, I'd be happy to answer your questions but just not on the board.. kind of personal stuff
I understand why some people don't like Guns and I understand why some do.. My husband hunts and I have never been a huge fan of hunting because I love animals. Gosh, the man didn't hunt til way after I married him.. why can't he just go fishing? LOL
Ok no that doesn't sound too good but I didn't want the entire world to know that my husband works away a lot.... wouldn't want to tell anyone where the gun would be.. or that I would intend to shoot their behinds if they break in
I'm sorry, I didn't mean to be nosey -- and really wasn't trying to get you to tell me personal information -- was thinking more like "locked cabinet" not "the third drawer down in the dresser next to the right side of the bed" KWIM.
I ceratinly am not more concerned about your children than you are, just honestly curious about how one resolves those sorts of issues when one owns a gun. The only person I know who has a handgun is my dad -- who is a retired federal magistrate and carried a concealed weapon mostly because he worked long hours in a court without a bailiff. He never used it for home protection -- my folks run a Bed and Breakfast now, and while they know where the keys to the guest rooms are, I don't know that they've ever actually locked their home.

LMAO - no, that probably wouldn't be the smartest thing to do, lol.
You keep your gun in a nice safe place, where it makes you feel secure while he's away.

I'm not a parent who's comfy with guns,
We have never had a gun in our home growing up....nor do we have one now!
