And you're right, no matter who wins this is a historical election. I'm afraid that it's going to be historical AFTER as well. I really believe it's about race.
You're more than welcome to have your own beliefs about your impressions of his commercial, but your above statement doesn't make sense to me. How can you think that it will be historical "no matter who wins" but still say "it's about race." How will it be about race if McCain/Palin win? Then it would be about gender, yes?
i know you said you arent going to commment on my remark, but i have to ask anyway. what is so ridiculous about my remark? i have learned my things from my black friends that i never would have understood without them, ie: potted meat and the phrase 'your girl'...but i am sure many black people think it is about race, and many dont. just like many white people think the ad is about race, and many dont. but i dont understand how one black person saying it is about race makes it fact?
"It's time to put the election behind us and the country in front of us. Barack Obama wasn't my choice, but come January 20th, he will be MY President.... I will not seek to see all

>>This is actually a slap in the face from the tax cuts we receive now<<
Huh? This is compared to the tax cuts you have now. If you make between 66K and 111K (for example) you will pay $1264 less in taxes under Obama's plan.
I"m sure it feels like a slap in the fact to those making over 600K, and a big slap in the fact those making over 2.87 million - unless that is you though you dont' see an increase -- so where does the "slap" come in?

Per the Tax Policy Center, here is how Obama's tax plan breaks down for individuals:
$0-$18,891 = $567 tax cut
$18,982-$37,595 = $892 tax cut
$37,596-$66,354 = $1,118 tax cut
$66,355-$111,645 = $1,264 tax cut
$111,646-$160,972 = $2,135 tax cut
$160,973-$226,918 = $2,796 tax cut
$226,919-$603,402 = $121 tax increase
$603,403-$2.87 million = $93,709 tax increase
$2.87 million-plus = $542,882 tax increase
This is actually a slap in the face from the tax cuts we receive now.
