The online polls I have seen both showed Edwards as the winner by over 70% of participants.

Oh yeah and hiney has one "n."

Which polls would those be, let me guess msnbc? Shocking! Too bad their own news correspondence feel differently. Tom Brokaw for one felt that Cheney clinched it. The only liberal voice I have heard say that Cheney didn't win was Jessie Jackson in the spin room no less...lol.~Lisa

Why do people like to point out other people's spelling and/or typing errors?

I read on another site that it was like the smartest kid in school getting sent to the prinicipal (misspelled) office. Then, Tom Brokaw said the same thing. He must have read the website!

It did remind me of that scenario. Cheney knows his stuff. He is a Washington dinosaur. I think he handled himself well. I don't like him and he reminds me of Darth Vader. All gloom and doom and we are going to die lectures has made me wary of him. I thought they both did well. No one lost the race last night.

Who was it..Stockwell..that was so poor that he lost the race for Perot?

PS..I thought Cheney was great in handling the questioning about his gay daughter. Just wonderful. It is the first time I have ever felt Cheney's humanity shining through.

For those that pick about posts: 1 misspelled word, I sentence ending in a preposition

What I don't get is why I have such a different perception of Cheney.

"anyone with any objectivity could clearly see that Cheney was well-spoken, intelligent and in command of the debate." Well, when you FIND that objective person, we'll ask them.

First of all, the fact that Cheney could put two words together without grimacing was going to make him look miles better than Bush. It was a pretty even match. Cheney was hardly in command of anything.

Different perceptions. I have never liked Cheney. He just rubs me the wrong way. I always thought Dole is witty and thoughtful but I have never seen Cheney in that light.
