I stand by my statement.
There was a comment in my local paper by a 64 year old man from New Hampshire (typically a republican state).
Right. And Cheney never met Edwards before last night. That must be so as well.
I think the search for objectivity must continue...
McCain is one of the *very* few I can respect.
He's honest because he agrees with you.
>>So if one 64 yr old man tells you what you want to hear it must be so?<<
Right...that's what I said.
I thought Cheney did an excellent job! He was forthright, knowledgable, matter of fact in his statements. I especially liked when he was asked why he makes a good vp he responded by saying that he has no political aspirations of his own, he's not thinking of himself at all, he's there to support the president 100% and not have his own agenda.
Some women on Fox News said he looked "grumpy"-of course, she was from the Kerry camp.
Because others might see it differently?
I don't know if I'd say it's so much a blatant type of dishonesty per se but it's a clear case of seeing what you want to see.
I don't really know who "won"...I didn't watch the debate.
