In general, I'm in the include everyone or include no one camp with regards to public religious displays. And I realize that it's hard to know where to draw the line with religion (hence the atheist and Festivus displays). But if I had to choose between displaying all or displaying none, I'd choose all. Nothing is learned or gained from cleansing religious traditions and symbols from holidays such as Christmas or Hannukah. I'm not religious, but I appreciate learning about *all* of the various traditions and I want my child to have the opportunity to learn about the diversity of beliefs.
This also goes for music in schools. How boring and sanitized our lives would be if we had to limit our children's musical education

Perhaps you could provide some sort of evidence that people don`t already study the country they`re moving to prior to moving there.
And that they are the ones doing the complaining about American traditions in the first place.
