I am sorry that the sum total of your knowledge about choosing your battles amounts to your friend who does not require room cleaning.

My parents were definately of the choose your battle type and not only did I graduate university and continue on to get two advanced degrees, I didn't sneak out and drink and party and ask others to buy me booze in high school.......so I pick my parents style.


Or I would, if I thought the plural of anecdote was data.

Being new here and just a casual observer I have to say I agree with you here. After just about every response to you from someone on this topic about "picking your battles" I have felt the desire to jump in and say "Ah, that's not what she said".

I would agree it would get old really fast to have your posts consistently twisted along with having words put in your mouth. If that's how things work on this board then I fear I won't last long either! LOL!
