I don't have a link. It says she abused the powers of her office and violated public trust. I wonder how this will affect the republican campaign?

wouldn't it be a good thing to know everything there is to know? Knowledge is power. What you choose to do with that knowledge is one thing, but it is important to have all the facts out so that everyone knows about the ethical and political values of a candidate.

True!

Thank goodness they gave the report before the election.

Regarding the moose killing. If you read the report, Moneghan was asked by Todd Palin to look into the investagtion that was done on Wooten, including documents from a PI that they hired. He did so and his people found no new evidance. When he told him that, the moose killing was mentioned, Moneghan mentioned while it is a proscuteable charge, that because Palin's sister was the one that held the hunting permit and was present when the moose was killed, and that Palin's father was the one that butchered the moose, they could be charged in connection with it. Of course if the Palins had agreed to be disposed it might have been a different outcome. If they did nothing wrong, then what is the problem?

This is exactly the same way I feel about Obama.

I agree with you as well. Even as an Obama supporter I certainly want to know what there is to know.

The report also stated there was no wrongdoing on her part. It was a witch hunt.

A couple of quotes from an article in yesterday's Anchorage Daily News (emphasis mine):

"The investigation WAS ORDERED BY THE LEGISLATURE in JULY to examine the circumstances under which Public Safety Commissioner Walt Monegan was terminated. The results of that probe, released Friday, concluded she ABUSED HER POWER in pressing for the firing of an Alaska state trooper once married to her sister but was within her authority in firing Monegan."

“Finding No. 1 says she VIOLATED THE ETHICS LAW,” Elton said. “Anybody who suggests that the report does not say she broke the law, they just need to read the report. They don’t even need to read all 300 pages of it, just page seven or eight.”

Speaking of witches, Palin's colleagues in Anchorage must have had a crystal ball if they knew back as far as July that she'd be the VP pick.
