I have been lurking since this board was created, but have never posted. There have so many valid points on both sides of the argument.
One thing that has been brought up not only here but also throughout the media is the socio-economical makeup of the supporters for both sides; Republicans being Elitists and primarily "white collar" higher income earners and Democrats being the hard-working "blue collar" middle class.
I have seen economics and the the topic of Obama's and McCain's Tax Plans discussed and debated here on this debate board, and was just curious what the socio-economical make up was here on this debate board, to see if the theory I mentioned above holds water or if it is just a bunch of hooey. I made this a poll because I know that income can be a personal topic and felt that more would participate if it were an anonymous vote.
For the record, our family's annual income does fall in the upper category and both my husband and I are still undecided. I just wish there was a candidate that took the good from both Obama and McCain and rolled it into one nice balanced candidate.
Do you mean household income?
