Unfortunately though, the company he had been working for prior to deploying had to cut back on hours so even though he still had a job there, he was not making the same amount b/c he was an hourly employee. He returned to work there more out of loyalty then anything. They had been really nice to him and at Christmas the employees chipped in and the company matched their donations and they sent $1000 to me and another woman who's husband was deployed (also an employee of the company). It was very generous and enabled me to buy a laptop for my husband so that we could finally "talk" online. So basically,
