I agree with so much of the letter you posted. I support our troops as well. They are the best and deserve better than they are getting from the current administration.
We went into Iraq prematurely in my view, but we are there now and we need an administration that can see to it that we don't drop the ball and get this country on its feet. I want a leader who was not afraid to go into battle. I want a leader who has been there and done that. I don't want someone who pushed us into a war at a time when all diplomacy had not failed. Saddam was a bad man. He needed to go. But why didn't Bush's dad do the job when we were in the gulf war the first time? That was the time. He dropped the ball. W. Bush rushed before he was prepared. Even his military advisors told him that more troops and supplies were needed and he didn't listen. I want a leader who will listen to his military and not just say everything is fine. I don't want a leader with blinders on and that is how I see Bush. He seems to be in his own fairyland, sending our kids into battle with no plan. Keep our country and the world safe. Elect a change and vote for John Kerry.
